CyberNet Bucks Teams With Moneybookers Payment Processing

CyberNet Bucks has announced the addition of a new payment processor, Moneybookers, that they hope will help to convert international traffic.

Moneybookers works similarly to PayPal, allowing funds to be drawn from or deposited in a bank account through email, which helps serve the European market, whose consumers wield less plastic than North Americans do.

“You can transfer money from bank account to user account, much like PayPal. But Moneybookers, unlike PayPal, is actually seeking out business in the adult market,” CyberNet Bucks vice president of marketing Tony Pirelli told AVNOnline.com.

PayPal stopped processing business for adult clients last year.

In addition, Moneybookers allows affiliate programs to do recurring payments and track affiliates.

Pirelli said he is already seeing results from the new processor, with the bulk of transactions coming in from Germany.

“I added [Moneybookers] in the middle of the week and already we’ve been getting 10 transactions a day with them,” he said.

Moneybookers supports funding options in more than 20 countries. It can be sued by anyone that has an email address.
