Cyber-Synergism Coming On Strong

When they started doing business back in 1995, Los Angeles-based adult content provider Cyber-Synergism (www.cybersynergism.com) was one of the first companies to service the adult Internet. "Now we have thousands of Web masters," says co-owner Mike Rick. "Size-wise, we're on the same level as companies such as iGallery, iBroadcast, Pornholio and Pornication."

Rick worked in the adult industry as a publisher and agent for models and photographers for ten years, prior to starting Cyber-Synergism. His company specializes in photographic plug-and-play lease galleries. He claims his was the first company to come up with the concept. "Right now, the thing that makes us different from the other guys is that our content is not branded with our company name. Domain names are labeled generically, so a surfer will have the impression that the site they joined is the clever site that put the content together. This has been the key to Cyber-Synergism's success," Rick says.

Cyber-Synergism, which has traditionally kept a low profile, is about to make some noise: they've recently hired Chandie Roberts as their Director of Sales and Marketing. Roberts, who has done promotional work for other adult Internet companies such as Personal Porn and Mega-Hardcore, is coming aboard at a time when the company is introducing an important new product called the Super Members content package. "In January, we're launching [this] revolutionary, mind blowing content package that nobody on the planet can beat or duplicate," Rick enthuses. The package will contain a huge amount of content, and will have what Rick terms "a celebrity aspect" to it. The content package will also include X-rated versions of music videos that were too racy for MTV. The videos will show behind-the-scenes action with rap artists such as Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Lil' Kim. Cyber-Synergism will also broadcast Julio G., who Rick calls "the second-biggest rap DJ in the world," live from strip clubs in Los Angeles. Famous rappers will perform from the clubs while the girls strip.

Beyond the celebrity aspect, the Super Members content package comes with "more live streaming channels than anyone has ever, ever dreamt of putting together," Rick says.

Niches include black, Asian, Hawaiian, porn stars, teen, mature women, and housewives. All streams are live, and members can chat with performers for free. The package also has over 100,000 still photographs. For example, one interface called Clickable Earth shows a picture of the globe. If you click on Africa, you'll get a picture of an African girl; for Latin America, the image will be of a Hispanic girl.

There are upsells for the live chats that go along with the streaming video. Also, because they offer a shopping area, Web masters will receive 15 percent of all products sold. The store will have typical adult shopping fare (hardcore videos, lingerie, etc.) as well as music and mainstream videos.

The package is customizable. You can skip the interfaces, or customize them to match your site.

"That's something that nobody else offers. Usually content providers say 'Nope, you have to come in this one way'. Whether a Web master takes all of the content or just one picture, Super Members is offered as one package for $500," Rick explains. Cyber-Synergism will also offer a baby version of the package to start-up companies for $199.

Cyber-Synergism plans to debut the package at the January ia2000 in Las Vegas.
