CuriousCash Webmaster of the Year Jetted to Gay Mardi Gras

During the last half of 2004, affiliates of CuriousCash were entered into the company’s Webmaster of the Year Competition. The prize? An all-expenses-paid trip to the 2005 Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras in Sydney, Australia, – the longest running Gay Pride Celebration of its type in the world.

Affiliates received one entry for being affiliates, one more for every 25 joins sent, and one for each referral to either CuriousCash.com or BentBoard.com.

Lee from GayWideWebmasters.com drew Freya Communications (MenOnTheNet.com) from a hat at the Gay Webmaster Bash luncheon at January’s Internext.

With CuriousTim and CuriousToyBoy acting as tour guides and Chad Belville from Administration Services International also in tow, Freya’s Matt Deak and his partner Jerry were treated to a whirlwind three-day stay in Sydney, followed by a few more days in Queensland, including an outing to the Australia Zoo.

“The CuriousCash crew showed us the time of our lives. Jerry and myself had altogether too much fun in Sydney for Mardi Gras,” Deak said. “The Gold Coast has to be one of the most spectacular places to visit in the world. Thanks to Tim and Lindsay and team, and especially to Tim’s amazing models, that joined us for a barbecue by the beach on the Gold Coast. Jerry and I will be back.”

CuriousCash is planning on hosting more widely attended forum-type events in Sydney to coincide with the Mardi Gras event in early March 2006.
