For Webmasters who need on-the-fly image resizing and bandwidth-specific image viewing, Cool Piranha Content is launching a new interactive serving program the company says can handle those two functions and more.
It’s also offering a chance to win three months' free hosting using zoom technology and $1,000 worth of free content.
Dynamic Image Serving will also feature image zooming, Cool Piranha said in a statement. "With the DIS software, site members can spin, rotate, and actually zoom right in on all your adult images, direct from the source range and all online," according to a company statement. The software also includes caching properties that prevent site performance slowdowns, the company added.
"The imaging software allows us to change the size of thumbnails, gallery, or any other image simply by changing the source code in a simple user interface," said Cool Piranha President Susan Roux. "Job done. We don’t need to rebuild galleries and re-encode our pages at significant cost." Users can, however, focus on promotion with the time they might normally spend rebuilding, Roux added.
