Coo, Coo, Ca-Choo: National Single Cougars Convention Set for Aug. 28

 

PALO ALTO, Calif. — Guys, it’s time to dust off your older brother’s Whitesnake t-shirt and borrow the old man’s I-Roc. The first annual National Single Cougars Convention for Young Men & Older Women is set to take place August 28 at Dinah’s Garden Hotel in Silicon Valley.

The event is sponsored by the Society of Single Professionals and costs a mere $20 to attend. Complimentary appetizers from Trader Vic’s will be served at 7:30 p.m., but the meat market officially kicks off at 8 p.m. with a keynote address by relationship guru and author Francesca Gentille and life coach Tahil Gesyu.

One lucky lady will be crowned Miss Cougar America during the Cougar’s Ball and win a free getaway package from the Singles Travel Company and a “Cougar Kit” from Cardeaux Cosmetics, valued at over $100.

Cougars must be present, single, and at least 40-years old to be crowned Miss Cougar America. Attire for the event is described as “dressy” for the cougars, coat-and-tie for the milf hunters (Editor’s note: Ok, so ixnay on the Whitesnake tee, but definitely bring the I-Roc).

Cardeaux Cosmetics is also giving away free makeup samples to the first 50 cougars to arrive on the scene.

Dinah’s Garden Hotel is located at 4261 El Camino Real, Palo Alto. The hotel boasts eight acres of gardens featuring tranquil waterfalls, koi lagoons and art objects from the Pacific Rim.
