Plattsburgh State University officials said they are launching an investigation to determine whether any laws were broken by a Shane’s World shoot last year.
According to the Press Republican, university officials learned of the shoot after the school newspaper, Cardinal Points, wrote about the shoot of the newly-released College Invasion 10.
Keith Tyo, a spokesman for the university, said the school plans to investigate the shoot and determine whether any violations took place during the video shoot last year, held a home outside the campus, dubbed the Track House because of the track athletes it houses.
Megan Stokes, vice president of sales, said no performers or crew members broke any laws and that its shoots, which take place off campus, are always positive experiences for all involved.
“As with every movie we film we have lots of eager, willing adults. We were invited by the students to come and film their party, just like every other College Invasion. The College Lifestyle is always fascinating to people,” she said.
“There are those who wish they had done it and those who wish to relive it ... which is part of the appeal of this series. The media coverage from this week has filled our inbox with more requests from other colleges wishing to out party the schools in our previous volumes.”
Although school’s newspaper, Cardinal Points wrote critically of the video which featured some fraternity members and athletes, Stokes said none of the students complained.
“Everybody enjoyed themselves and had fun with and it’s only later that we sometimes hear the media criticizing us,” Stokes said.
“It's just college students having sex and having fun… One lucky guy even got to have sex with a Vivid girl – Lacie Heart, who signed a contract with Vivid after this movie.”
The title, which was released two weeks ago, features Heart, brunette hottie Naomi and Isis Love getting busy with Mr. Pete, some college studs and each other at Plattsburgh.
“That’s what makes these movies so popular,” said Stokes.
“The thing the I think it makes the lines so exciting is that the porn stars are out of their element and the college students are so eager it creates a raw sexual energy.”
Meanwhile, Shane’s World is scheduled to release Jamaican Vacation, on Dec. 5, featuring Sunny Lane and Roxy DeVille, followed on Dec. 19 by Shane’s World #39: Casey’s Pool Party, starring contract star Casey Parker.
