ClubJenna Summons DiReda to Market New Contract Girls

Club Jenna Inc. has hired T.J. DiReda to handle the marketing and publicity for its exclusive contract girls.

DiReda told AVN.com he would immediately begin working to secure unique promotional opportunities for Jenna Jameson’s exclusive performers, Krystal Steal, McKenzie Lee and Jesse Capelli, in both the mainstream and adult worlds.

“I’ve known T.J. for quite a while, and he’s always struck me as such a go-getter,” Jameson told AVN.com Friday. “He kind of has his finger on the pulse of what’s cool, and when it comes to a publicist and an event coordinator, you need somebody to understand where the in-place to be is and what people really want to see.”

Jameson indicated that she would announce the signing of a fourth exclusive, ClubJenna starlet as early as next week, giving DiReda a foursome to promote.

“They want me to garner some high-profile recognition for their new girls,” DiReda said. “They trust me and know what my abilities are.

“I’m going to be involved in the adult day-to-day, bringing the mainstream exposure that we all know fuels Jenna’s fire and has led to her becoming a sex symbol as opposed to a porn star. That’s the stuff that I’m known for doing.”

A native of Los Angeles who is also co-owner of the upstart gonzo company, Vertigo Video, DiReda takes on the assignment with a proven track record of marketing adult film stars. He worked for two-plus years as the Director of Marketing for Vivid Entertainment Group, where he closed deals for the Vivid Girls to be a part of the Pony sportswear ad campaign and landed them in trendy mainstream publications such as Flaunt, among other endeavors.

While at Vivid, he also orchestrated several events that consistently attracted celebrity crowds. Paris Hilton, Rick Fox, Jaime Pressley and Brittany Murphy were among the guests who came to his 2002 Vivid Halloween bash in Hollywood.

“I don’t think that anything could throw him off course now. He’s already been put through the wringer,” Jameson joked. “Here’s the thing. Now that I’m so hands-on with my girls, I think it’s really important that I work alongside people I truly respect, and T.J. is one of those people. I’m just really, really happy that he’s part of the company. I know he’s going to further our image and our brand.

“Plus, all the girls know T.J. and really like him.”

After leaving Vivid, DiReda went on to become director of marketing at Pure Play Media, where he promoted the Ninn Worx contract girls and Seymore Butts, among others. One of his notable events while at Pure Play happened in November of 2003, when he threw Dave Navarro and Carmen Electra’s bachelor/bachelorette party at the High-Roller’s Suite at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas with the Ninn Worx girls hosting.

“I’m going to get mass exposure for the girls and for ClubJenna, similar to what I did at Vivid,” DiReda said. “It’s exciting to be a part of something like this. It’s challenging. This is sort of the beginning for ClubJenna, and I’m happy to be a part of that right out of the gate. I don’t want to discount the fact that I have a successful gonzo company, but for them to ask me to be a part of this, I’m flattered by it, even with the other stuff.”

He continued, “The girls that they have signed are above and beyond any contract girls in the business. These girls are so incredibly beautiful. It’s going to be fun to actually promote them in both worlds.”

DiReda started his career in adult in July 2001, leaving a mainstream Hollywood background as a literary agent and talent manager. He revealed that one of his first CJ Inc. promotions would involve taking the girls to the Winter Music Conference in Miami in March.
