ClubJenna Inc. has signed British newcomer McKenzie Lee to an exclusive, multi-year performance contract.
Lee is a 25-year-old native of Leicester, England, who was a stripper for 5 ½ years before beginning her adult film career. She will perform in eight videos per year for ClubJenna in addition to representing the company on promotional appearances and store signings across the country.
“She’s a wonderful girl,” ClubJenna owner Jenna Jameson told AVN.com. “When I saw her – I’m very involved on the Net on all the message boards – and I remember thinking to myself, ‘that doesn’t look like a girl that would be in the adult industry. She looks more like a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model with that young, fresh girl-next-door look.’ And then I found out the extent she goes to on film and I said, ‘I’ve got to meet this girl.’
“The minute I met her, I said, ‘this is the next girl I want to sign.’”
Jameson said she was taken by Lee’s vibrant personality.
“I think she has no fear,” she continued. “I encounter that a lot. A lot of times girls are a little bit intimidated by me, which I never understand because I’m probably the most normal person on Earth. But she had no fear at all. She wasn’t intimidated about coming in. It’s incredibly important to be outspoken. There are hundreds of girls who are beautiful and have great bodies, but when you’re able to be articulate and get your ideas across, that’s special.”
Lee, who is 5-foot-4 with a 32D-26-32 figure, previously had a contract with Playboy U.K. and hosted a risqué cable television show in England. When she arrived in Los Angeles, her services were in demand early and often. She had already been booked through March 22 when ClubJenna took her off the market.
“I love my job. I love doing what I do,” Lee told AVN.com. “I like the kind of porn couples watch together, when it’s about the girl. I really enjoy gonzo stuff.
“I’ve always been a fan of adult movies. I’m a huge fan of Jenna’s.”
Four of Lee’s first six sex scenes in LA were anal, and the former Leicester Premier cheerleader said, “I prefer d.p.” Lee said that she loves animals, especially horses, and that her parents know she is in porn and support her.
“My mom’s a nymphomaniac. I find it rather disturbing. My dad seems to find the funny side of it,” she said.
Jameson said that because she spent most of her career as a contract girl that it might be more of a challenge to be exclusive with her company.
“I worked so hard to become popular, and I want them to feel what it feels like, and I know they will,” Jameson, the 2005 AVN Best Actress in a Film, said. “That’s why we signed these girls. I know they’re capable of being superstars and doing what it takes.”
Jameson gave the public a sneak peek of Lee at the Grand Opening of the Vivid club Friday night in Las Vegas.
Jay Grdina, president and CEO of ClubJenna, said that a post on a message board in the ClubJenna forum generated positive feedback about Lee, who had already created a buzz on other industry message boards.
“Everyone was talking about this hot girl doing crazy scenes, gonzo stuff,” Grdina told AVN.com. “Everyone really loved McKenzie. She did a test shoot, and she was personality plus. She’s really pretty. She hosted a Playboy show in England, so her on-camera appearance and presence is just amazing.”
Lee, who recently shot a pictorial for Penthouse, is scheduled to work with fellow ClubJenna Girl Krystal Steal for Hustler. She is also booked with Club magazine.
“We’re looking at expanding our brand in the adult arena through the use of different contract girls,” Grdina said.
He said that Lee’s first movie would likely be shot in April with an early fall release date.
“It’s going to be a big year for ClubJenna. We’re so blessed. We have some really big stuff coming right now and we’re excited,” Grdina said.
Jameson said that the response to Bella Loves Jenna, winner of the AVN Award for Best Video Feature in January, reinforced what she had already suspected.
“With how popular and how successful it was, it made me realize how important hardcore is,” she said. “Sex is the basis for everything. The girl can be as beautiful as a supermodel but if she’s not able to fuck, then that kind of misses the point. I think {McKenzie} encompasses both.”
