CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Jenna Jameson's new movie Jenna Loves Diamonds is generating strong sales in its first week of release, according to Club Jenna's national sales manager Howard Levine.
"I have already gotten reorders the first day, which is pretty unusual," Levine told AVN. "It’s not a comp – it’s all footage that nobody has seen and it’s really, really good. The major chains like Movie Gallery and Family Video both brought the movie into stores in a big way, GVA and IVD have stocked it deep and all of our other retailers and distributors are taking big numbers."
Though she publicly announced her retirement from performing, Jameson's popularity remains high with fans.
"I don’t know any other girl that sells as well as Jenna," Levine said. "Even the biggest stars out there today do not do the numbers that Jenna does. That’s not to put anybody else down – it's just that Jenna is still the biggest seller."
Jenna Loves Diamonds is one of several Jameson titles for 2008. Vivid and Club Jenna will release the star vehicle Burn later this year.
