City of L.A. Wins Appeals Court Decision Over Club

The city of Los Angeles has won an appeals court decision backing its move to shut down a Tarzana nude dance club called Frisky Kitty, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The ruling said that city acted legally when it rejected a permit request by the Frisky Kitty on the grounds that it was within 500 feet of an apartment building, according to the report.

The lawyers representing the club said Wednesday that additional appeals mean the club will remain open.

“I figure it [Frisky Kitty] has another 10 years to operate before all legal means are exhausted,"Roger Diamond, an attorney for the club, told the newspaper.
