Cindy Margolis Gets Animated

Internet superstar Cindy Margolis has inked an agreement with Gang of Seven Animation (G7 Animation) to develop an animated TV series – Cindy BC – based around her persona, with an Adult-oriented premise intended to capitalize on the burgeoning late-night adult male viewing market.

Surfers will remember Margolis as the Guinness Book of World Records’ most downloaded woman on the Internet.

“I am extremely excited and pleased to be working with such a talented group of experienced animation veterans,” Margolis said. “Developing my show with them assures me that it will properly reflect a unique level of humor and intelligence that I am sure my fans will enjoy.”

In addition to Cindy BC, Margolis is also in discussions to develop her own reality series with her husband, restaurateur Guy Starkman of Jerry’s Famous Deli fame.

North Hollywood, California-based Gang of 7 Animation is a partnership comprised of animation veterans, such as Tom Sito (Shrek, The Lion King), Tom Tataranowicz (Marvel, Biker Mice from Mars), Rich Arons (Tiny Toons), Mark Zoeller (Animaniacs), Dennis Venizelos (The Spongebob Squarepants Movie) and David Armstrong (MGM).

No word on when or where the series will debut.
