Chuck Martino announces that he and a European partner are forming a manufacturing/distributing company called Philmore Home Video. Martino says the plan is to start off with three releases a month and expand gradually. Martino says that he will take over the Philmore Butts series with the blessings of Sunshine Home Video. "Rita and Joseph are fine with this," Martino says. "They think it's great."
"We're also also going to be doing two other young girl series," Martino adds. One will be a young girl-older man series; the other will be called 'Always 18'. I'm not exactly sure what we're going to call the other series since Dave Cummings already has Sugardaddy. But that's actually a cool name.
"We'll also be doing Philmore Butts the way it used to be done when some money was spent on it," Martino went on to say. "We're going to do it like the old way. I'm also planning to do the kind of gonzo like I did for Sin City with the Sinister line - just real hardcore stuff. I learned a lot from Sin City, and I'll do some of that for myself."
Martino says he expects the first releases for Philmore Video to come out in June and relishes the idea of operating his own company. "You can only make so much money producing movies for other people," he said. "It's just so competitive, and less money's being spent. I still think there's a need for good, quality product." Martino, who's been in the adult business 15 years and got his start through John Stagliano when they were fellow dancers on the circuit, however, says he'll continue to shoot for other companies, besides. "I still have accounts I can shoot for."
