Adult star China Barbie has unveiled her official Website, ChinaBarbie.com.
The site’s debut comes after a brief sabbatical for Barbie from the adult industry. “I had taken a break from the mainstream adult film industry, but [was] still working in and out in different areas of the industry,” said Barbie. “I had worked for a prominent Webcam company and a lot of the visitors who chatted in my Webcam room had recognized me.
“And those that never heard of me, now knew me through the visitors’ messages. Everyone wanted to know, why didn’t I still have a site? Where was my site? It was the greatest traffic opportunity here.”
Barbie’s new site features her entire film and video catalog – including Co-ed Cocksuckers #3, Midnight Angels, and Da Juice 8, – and magazine appearances, a daily diary, Picture of the Week, biography, links, and a wealth of photo galleries.
Already computer savvy, Barbie was eager to consume as much information as possible regarding the building of a Website. “I decided to visit the Webmonkey.com computer tutorial site and check out an old Dreamweaver For Dummies book,” she said. “In one week I knew enough Dreamweaver to put up a starter Website, which was actually a site for the feature film I shot. Soon after I combed through some Asian bubble gum magazines and Websites and got the design ideas for my ChinaBarbie.com.”
Features soon to be added to the site include hardcore video clips, Webcam shows, a store where fans can purchase videos, calendars, and photos.
“I’m sure it’s not the most extravagant site around,” remarked Barbie, “but you’re talking about someone who learned on her own, hence every Webmaster/so-called friend telling her that building her own site was the ultimate impossibility.”
Barbie said she acquire a lot of help in building the site from Website tutorials online. “The best one was Good-Tutorials.com,” she said, “which has over 3,000 Web tutorials for every style you can think of.”
And though she is pleased with her site’s debut, it very much phase one of exciting things to come.
“Right now I am focusing on myself and reuniting with my fans,” she said, “but later I would hope the site would grow larger where more models would be featured, and not just any models. We’re talking ethnic beauties from around the world. I really hope to go to Hong Kong and Ibiza to showcase exotic girls wanting to get into the biz.”
For Barbie, the new site is just the beginning. “It’s my baby and I’m so glad that I was the one who started it and launched it onto its feet,” she said. “There’s an advantage to being a model and building your own site, because I feel like I care about it more. I want to work hard and make it the best it can be.”
