Child Porn Charged Dropped Against Massive Attack Singer

Massive Attack rapper 3D (real name: Robert Del Naja) is off the child porn hook - British detectives have dropped the case against him for lack of sufficient evidence.

The rapper was on tour in Japan with the dance-music group when the news broke March 21. Arrested in February as part of the British government's Operation Ore child porn crackdown, 3D's computer equipment - seized from his Bristol home after his arrest - has been returned to him, the BBC said.

That doesn't mean 3D is off the legal hook entirely - the rapper still faces drug charges and remains free on police bail in that case, the BBC added.

"I have never looked at child pornography in my life," he said in a statement at the time of his arrest. "I am fully co-operating with the police and I would ask everyone not to judge me prematurely. I have total faith in the justice system."
