Chi Chi, Reimer, APLA To Launch ClubChannel1.com

Mark Friday the 14th (of March, that is) as the launch party for ClubChannel1.com, with Chi Chi LaRue, Rob Reimer, and beneficiary AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA) leading the revelry at the El Rey Theater.

Club Channel 1, of course, is "a music video series showcasing the world’s party scene to millions of viewers monthly," says Channel 1 in an announcement. "Club Channel 1 features Rascal video stars in hot and sexy scenes, music and video from some of today’s hottest performance artists and of course footage from hotspots around the world."

The festivities are scheduled to include a comeback performance by resident Factory LA and Shocker performer Shockra choreographed by Flava, Porn Star Go-Go Boys, and a surprise special guest, with music provided by DJ Paulo. The party will be Shockra's first performance since undergoing an appendectomy last month.

Club Channel 1 is part of the Channel 1 releasing family of companies, recognized as a leading gay and lesbian market-oriented adult entertainment company, and reaching viewers and visitors by way of several distribution channels from Internet sites to events, interactive media, and video.

The event's proceeds will be marked in full for APLA, and the first volume of Club Channel 1's video will include a public service announcement for APLA's Wrap It Up campaign, a safe-sex awareness campaign for the gay and lesbian communities. "Club Channel 1 hopes that airing these PSA’s in bars and Clubs around the world will help get that message to young people," Channel 1 says in its announcement. "The premiere volume of Club Channel 1 will also be shown on large screens throughout the event."

Party sponsors include KIIS-FM radio, Sircuit Cosmeceuticals, Epoch Billing, Specialty Productions, Cybersocket, Paycom.net, Frontiers, GayWired.com, WET, Chi Chi LaRue.com, and Channel 1 Releasing.
