Chatropolis Takes Another Shot at Affiliate Program

Interfun has re-launched its affiliate program for Chatropolis.com.

The new Chatropolis affiliate program is run with CCBill and offers webmasters a 50 percent commission on conversions and recurring memberships.

“Chatropolis has more services than any chat site and is more of a community site. It is not for every affiliate looking for a fast buck, because they won't make that here, but if you want people that convert and stay active subscribers for two years, that’s us,” Interfun president Michael Ludwick told AVNOnline.com.

For a while, that wasn’t them. Ludwick estimated his company’s losses with their previous processor to be slightly more than $20,000. “We'd have a dozen or so members a week not be able to complete their Java-laden forms,” he said. “If the customer can't complete the join form how can an affiliate make money?”

“With CCBill we are having a great time making money,” he added.

Chatropolis claims a 30-percent conversion rate. The site tracks activity using cookies set to expire at 150 days and affiliates are paid directly by CCBill.

High-traffic sites may negotiate special rates.

Interfun Corporation owns Chatropolis, Fahrenheit453, TicoSearch, and Underground IFCS Chatrooms.
