Charlotte Stokely Goes Natural for Skater Girl Fever

Starlet Charlotte Stokely is a natural girl. Looking just as hot in a tank top and jeans, with not a touch of make-up on her face, as she does with dramatic eyeliner and an ornate bustier, the blonde starlet is as versatile on the outside as she is on the inside.

“I try to get into any character that’s thrown at me. Even if it’s gonzo, I just try to think about what that particular person would be thinking and what would make them hot….it’s acting. Stokely went on to say that she loves doing features as well, because, as she puts it, she’s “in love with dialogue.”

Busy with scenes for projects as dissimilar as JacktheZipper’s upcoming Blacklight Beauty, Jerome Tanner’s The Da Vinci Load and Kimberly Kane’s Naked and Famous, Stokely’s most recent project is helmer Dave Naz’s directorial debut, Skater Girl Fever, for Vvid-Alt. Stokely, the title’s stunning cover girl, told AVN.com that she had a great time doing her scene for the movie. “Dave’s stuff is really stripped and natural…I wore almost no make-up at all, and I liked that.

“My scene was with James Deen and we actually had sex on a skateboard…it looks pretty amazing.”

The starlet said she also enjoyed working with someone with whom she had a personal relationship. “Dave and I are great friends. He’s an amazing photographer, and he’s a great person to shoot with also. A day shooting photographs with him is awesome, because you get to listen to great music and he’s pretty chill…he’s a man of few words...he just quietly motions you one way or another, when giving directions.”

The freckled hottie will also be featured in Eon McKai’s much-anticipated debut for Vivid-Alt, Girls Lie, releasing next month. When asked if Stokely enjoyed being largely adopted by the so-called “alt” porn crowd she said, “Yeah, I love working with those guys. It’s fun, because I get to be myself. Kimberly Kane will be shooting a movie soon and where she’s casting me as myself; a Joy Division-addicted stoner.”

The 20-year-old Stokely has traveled a long road from her early years, growing up in Salt Lake City. In her words, it’s been a bit of a “rollercoaster.” She said she didn’t necessarily feel the heavy Mormon influence that is so prevalent in that part of the country, but LDS (Latter Day Saints) did have a definite presence. “My grandmother was a pretty strict Mormon,” Stokely explained. “She’d get me to go to church with her a lot.”

Stokely moved from Utah to Florida when she was 13 years old, just in time for junior high. “It was a bit of a culture shock.” The blonde beauty raced through high school and graduated a year ahead of her classmates, at the young age of 15. Stokely received a scholarship to a Florida community college and started studying business administration. “I was already basically running a local grocery store singly-handedly at the time, and I thought that business administration would be the best choice.”

The relationship trumped school, but ended shortly after Stokely dropped out of college. “After that, I got a job doing customer service for credit card companies for adult web sites…I basically got free access to a lot of adult sites.”

Stokely then went on to work at a Florida strip club, not as a dancer, but as a cocktail waitress. “I’ve never stripped…well, one time when there was a shift change, they needed someone to go up on stage, and so I want up there in jeans and a t-shirt and danced to ‘Come as You Are’ by Nirvana. They would ask me to dance a lot, but I never did.”

The nubile starlet did her first scene just after her 18th birthday. “I was living with a girl who was a stripper. She knew a guy that really wanted to shoot me, and he asked me about three times…I finally gave in and did it. It was my first boy/girl scene and I didn’t know anything about having sex on camera.”

She adapted quickly and moved out to Los Angeles in March of 2005. “I didn’t know anybody,” Stokely recalled, and went on to say that she really wanted to make something out of her then-burgeoning porn career. “I loved it, and I wanted to do something out of it.”

Stokely’s youthful look has made her a real catch for the ‘young girl’ genre. “I’ve been in a couple [of installments of] Elegant Angel’s It’s a Daddy Thing, and a lot of the material for my characters was my idea…I’m turned on by older men, and I really tried to get into the part.”

About 60 titles later, and now happily represented by Exotic Star Models, Stokely seems to be very well adapted. “I know that there’s a certain image and stereotype associated with being a porn girl, and I’m actually none of those things.

“I just want to show people that I’m a real person; that I like to go to the bookstore and that I don’t have to go to the mall every day; that I’m well educated.

“I just want to be who I am; just your average stoner punk girl.”

Stokely said she is currently constructing her totally free website, www.charlottestokely.com, but can currently be found here or at www.vivid-alt.com.
