AVN Hollywood, CA Strange Fishead Productions has announced a charity benefit to be held Saturday, December 5th, at renowned Moguls Club. \n The event promises to be a memorable one, with many in the Los Angeles artistic community banding together to raise money for AIDS and breast cancer with music and performance art. The roster of bands slated to appear are industrial cyborg-tech dynamos, Primortal; punk-shockers Penis Flytrap, featuring legendary frontwoman Dinah Cancer (remember 45 Grave, kids?); and Bomfog. \n Hosting the event is the glamorous Vida DeVille, whose list of credits includes dominating the Internet at www.transexualworld.com, as well as a recent supporting role in the Chi Chi LaRue-directed comedy, Fortune Nookie. (Catalina Video) \n "Let's face it, we've all known someone who has been affected by either one of these terrible diseases," said Strange Fishead's Joey Strange. "For all those who think that it'll never happen to them, think again. It may affect the one you love the most." \n Strange, an alternative video director whose acclaimed specialty video, Strange Life: The Breech (VCX Ltd.) gained an AVN Editor's Choice for the month of November, will be doing a cutting-edge performance piece himself, along with separate pieces by fellow artists, including domina/fetish director Lady Olivia Outre and e.t.; top dom Sabrina Belladonna and Everett Thompson; Strange Life co-star Bud Cockerham, and dancer Kina. \n Patrons are encouraged to participate in the charity auction, featuring rare, one-of-a-kind art, prints, videos, and much more. Noted photographer Ben Hoffman will donate a signed, 11" x 14" print of former Penthouse babe, Julie Strain. And a live internet feed, by Netlink Corporation, will bring the event to video monitors across the country. \n "We're very excited to be able to contribute to the awareness of these causes," said Netlink's Don Timms. "And what better way to kick off our new website, http://www.club-fetish.com than with a night of music, art, fetish and love?" \n All proceeds from the event will be divided between Linn House and an as-yet unnamed breast cancer fund beneficiary. (unavailable at press time) Linn House, an AIDS hospice and skilled nursing facility, provides a variety of services to those afflicted by AIDS and HIV. \n "We offer a full-care hospice to those who have six months or less to live," said Linn House's Gary Davis, an R.N and charge nurse. "We also provide IV therapy, wound care, and a start program for those who must take HIV medications. Individuals can live for up to six weeks at the facility, in a caring, supportive environment." \n Those wishing to contribute to Linn House can contact Gary Davis at (323) 851-0275. \n Strange Fishead Productions is a fledgling company which gives artists, musicians and the like an outlet, and provides charity work for those who need it most.
