MIAMI - Contrary to a report in today's Vancouver Sun, producer/director Cezar Capone has not withdrawn his offer to pay Sarah Palin $2 million to perform in a porn movie.
Instead, the director told AVN, he's upping the ante to $3 million.
Capone, a.k.a. Bill Fisher, sent a letter outlining his proposal to the Alaska governor and former Republican vice-presidential candidate on Nov. 6. Available online at PalinSuperMILF.com, the letter scored Capone a publicity coup as mainstream newspapers around the world picked up the story of his stunt.
The Sun article states, "Fisher's website, CezarCapone.com, has been taken down, as has his public letter making the offer to the Alaska Governor and her husband, and Fisher's MySpace page now makes no mention of the 'indecent proposal' that hit headlines over the weekend."
But the Sun reporter must have hit a technical glitch, as Fisher told AVN that he never took down his website or considered rescinding the outlandish offer.
"In fact, I'm raising the stakes," he said. "I'm now prepared to pay Sarah Palin $3 million...and as I said before, I'm willing to throw in a lifetime supply of Alaskan King crab."
God bless America...let bullshit ring.
