Central Park Media, a leading distributor of anime and manga content, and Zingy.com, a one-stop-shop for cell phone ringtones, pictures, games and wallpaper, have teamed to offer a gallery of 96 downloadable manga and anime images for all compatible cell phones.
The pictures, available here, are culled from Central Park’s most popular releases, including, Project A-ko, Alien Nine, Animation Runner Kuromi, and Legend of Himiko. Each image costs $1.99 andwillbe available until April 2005.
“We are proud to be the first American anime publisher to start distribution through cell phone technology,” Shigeki Morii, Central Park’s marketing manager, said in a press release.

Zingy, Inc. develops, aggregates, promotes, and distributes mobile content to consumers through Zingy.com.
