Carmen Luvana Leaves New Sensations, Joins Adam & Eve

Performer Carmen Luvana has signed an exclusive performance contract with production company Adam & Eve. Luvana was formerly with New Sensations.

"I am very excited to work with a company like Adam & Eve," said Luvana from her home in Los Angeles. "The possibilities available to us through film productions, my website and (myself) as a face of the company will allow both of us to expand our reach."

Luvana's new contract calls for her to appear in eight Adam & Eve productions in the next year. She will also act as the face of the company in many of its promotions during 2003. In addition, Adam & Eve will feature Luvana on the cover of its catalog and its home page, adameve.com.

"This is a perfect match," said Bob Christian, Director of Adam & Eve Productions. "Carmen and Adam & Eve will complement each other well," he told AVN.com.

"As we make a foray into Spanish language markets, as well as her already evident appeal to mainstream English speaking markets, Carmen will provide an excellent avenue for people to see what Adam & Eve is capable of.

"Likewise, we will supply her with an outlet of distribution and marketing power that's unattainable anywhere in the marketplace today."

Luvana, nominated for AVN's Best New Starlet this year, originally signed with New Sensations in December of 2001.

Jeff Mullen, director of marketing and media relations for New Sensations, gave the following statement on Luvana's departure:

"We wish Carmen the very best. We did not want to see her leave, (but) from what I understand, another company made an eleventh-hour offer that was quite impressive financially. New Sensations has worked extremely hard to develop Carmen's career, paving the way for her long-term success which has resulted in other companies coveting her signature.

"She is the kind of talent that comes along once in a great while, so as a company, we are disappointed, yet very excited that we have a number of Carmen titles still to be released including the interactive My PlaythingDVD and Carmen Goes to College.

We will always love Carmen but do understand that sometimes 'show me the money' is not just a line from a movie."

Adam & Eve is currently developing a Luvana-themed website to aid in her marketing and expects to launch it later this month.
