Carey to Make L.A. Campaign Stops

Legend contract star Mary Carey will be making some campaign stops around the Los Angeles area to promote her next run for governor of California. Carey will be doing “La Regadera,” a morning radio show on 107.1 FM this Friday morning. Carey will be on from 7 to 10 a.m.

The starlet told AVN.com that she will be trying to gain support from the Latino community. The radio show will also be taped live, and then run on the Spanish television station, Univision, later on Friday.

“I’m trying to appeal to a Latino audience…to encourage them to register to vote, if they haven’t already,” she said.

Carey will also be feature dancing at the Blue Zebra in North Hollywood (6872 Farmdale Ave, North Hollywood, 91606) Thursday through Saturday.

Additionally, Pervert, a cult horror film in which Carey starred, will have its festival world premiere (www.pervertthemovie.com) on June 3 at the Painted Bride Art Center (230 Vine St.)during the FirstGlance Film Fest in Philadelphia. For more information, go to www.firstglancefilms.com.
