Best American Pro-Am series went to Le Voyeur, John Leslie's series distributed by Video Marc Dorcel. Best European Pro-Am series went to Euro Anal [Angels in the U.S.]. Christophe Clark accepted the award thanking David Perry who made the videos what they were; and a special thanks to John Stagliano. nnBest European Actor, newcomer went to Titof. Best American Actor went to Randy Spears for Devil in Miss Jones 6, distributed by Blue One. Best European Actor was Ian Scott for L'Emerdeuse. Scott credited Christophe Clark for providing inspiration to him. Best American Actress was Stacy Valentine for DMJ 6. She thanked Hot Video and David Chryso; VCA and Blue One, particularly Antonio Passolini. Best European Actress was Laura Angel. Best French actress was Dolly Golden. nnA special achievement award was given to Ona Zee. Best New European director was Gabriel Zero. Best American director was Michael Ninn for Ritual. Best European director was Fred Coppula. AVN publisher Paul Fishbein presented the AVN award Best American Movie to Rocco Siffredi. Best DVD went to La Ruee Vers Laure, distributed by Marc Dorcel. The award for platinum movie [best-selling] went to Machos from Blue One. Best French Movie, medium budget went to La Soiree des Connes [Night of the Cunts]. Ritual also won an award for Best Special Effects.
