Candida Royalle To Join NY Panel On Women's Issues

Veteran adult performer/director Candida Royalle will step into the mainstream world once again, when she joins a panel discussion on contemporary women's issues June 17 at the 92nd Street Y's Kaufmann Concert Hall.

Royalle will join a discussion that will include authors Nancy Friday and Candace Bushnell (whose Sex In The City inspired the hit HBO series of the same name), former Planned Parenthood president Faye Wattleton, and "Girl Next Door" columnist Nicole Beland of Men's Health.

Time editor-in-chief Norman Pearlstine will moderate the discussion.

Renowned for adult videos from a feminine point of view, Royalle is also working on her first book, tentatively titled How To Tell A Naked Man What To Do, scheduled for 2004 release by Simon and Schuster. She hopes the book will be "a blueprint" for couples wanting to bring sexy scenarios into their own lives.

Royalle's latest DVD, Eyes of Desire, Part 2, is now available, and she is also said to be at work on One Size Fits All: A Comedy in Five Acts.
