California Exotic Novelties has announced the hiring of industry veteran David Swanson as an international sales consultant.
Swanson, who has over 35 years experience adult, will be leaving his position with Goalie Entertainment to assume his new position with Cal Exotics. His resume includes experience in retail, wholesale and manufacturing.
"David has a wealth of experience in the industry, and his expertise in the international marketplace is exactly what we were looking for," said Cal Exotics president Susan Colvin. "His relationships with distributors, retailers, and mail-order companies around the world will help us expand our – already burgeoning – worldwide business."
Eddie Wedelstedt, president of Goalie Entertainment, added, "David has given many years to our company and to the adult industry. We appreciate all that he has done for us. When I heard that he wanted to get back involved with worldwide travel, I knew that my friend Susan had the perfect opportunity for him. I wish David all the best, and thank him for all he has done for Goalie and me."
The traveling aspect of his new position is something that appeals to Swanson.
“Over the years, I have made many friends throughout the world. I’m looking forward to ‘hitting the road’ and continuing these relationships,” he said.
The first stop on Swanson's "world tour" will be Paris, where he will be representing California Exotic Novelties at the Venus Fair (April 28-30).
