NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif.— Caballero International has named veteran adult salesman Russ Pascale as their new director of sales.
“Given his extensive distribution and manufacturing experience working with major adult studios, Russ was simply the natural choice to represent all of Caballero’s products,” stated Tomar Yofe, president of Caballero.
Pascale, who has 27 years of adult sales experience under his belt, was offered the position with Caballero while on a medical hiatus from his previous job at Metro. “It was really a matter of timing. This was a new opportunity, and the challenge of rebuilding one of the top brands in adult was something that I couldn’t pass on. I’m very excited about working with Tomar and the rest of the great team here at Caballero.”
In additional to Caballero’s golden age classics and features, Pascale will also oversee sales for the company’s Blue Picture, XOXO, Vertigo, and Home Made Amateur lines.
Even though his new job doesn’t officially begin until next Monday, Pascale has already begun spending time in the Caballero offices so that he can hit the ground running. “I didn’t know how well the classics did until I came over here – they sell like crazy – but it’s really a different game everywhere in the industry now. Caballero needs a look and some new products to put on the shelves and we’re going to make that happen.”
The first new product that Pascale intends to introduce will be 20-hour box sets, a product type the veteran salesman has ample experience with. “Right now in this industry you have to offer quality, quantity, and at the right price,” Pascale told AVN. “That’s what we’re planning over here. Those box sets seem to be the best selling things out there in the industry at the moment and I haven’t dropped the ball with those yet.”
The first Caballero 20-hour box sets should be available by the end of this month.
