Caballero has created a stand-up display case for its Caballero Classics line of Golden Age porn DVDs, which stores can acquire, at no extra charge, from their distributors.
According to Caballero sales director Dick Lane, the stand was specifically made for two kinds of retailers: those that don’t have a lot of shelf space for DVDs, and those that specifically want to spotlight Golden Age classics.
Lane said the cases, which come with the DVDs, will be available beginning in August.
The case has 16 slots, 10 discs deep, each devoted to the movies of a specific star or director— Seka, Ginger Lynn, Vanessa Del Rio, Shauna Grant, John C. Holmes, Ron Jeremy, Andrew Blake, etc. Or, Lane said, customers may “cherry-pick” the titles they want in each compartment.
Lane said Caballero is also preparing a display fixture devoted to their 25 Swedish Erotica compilations.
Caballero offers 4-pack and 6-pack box sets devoted to the most popular stars and directors, as well as to themes such as Mysteries, Nurses, Sex Games, etc.
The movies in the Caballero Classics collection are pitched as having “great production values, costumes, scenery, acting, beautiful women, great stories, and of course great sex.”
A 60-minute promo disc, entitled “The Golden Age of Porn,” with excerpts from 20 classic titles, is also available.
