Metro Global Media has confirmed they have dropped their mandatory condom policy for performers in its adult videos, vice president Greg Alves has confirmed.
Alves says Metro dropped the mandatory policy some six months ago, saying the studio now has a "condom-optional" policy.
"I had a lot of people who wouldn't work with them," Alves says. "And they were people we really wanted to use. They said it's their choice and they really kept pushing it. We finally went to optional.
"We leave the door open for everyone and keep a lot of condoms still on the set," he continues, "but a lot of the girls don't want to work with them because of irritation."
