An industry source says Trade News Corporation, which operates adult Webmaster affiliate program CECash, filed August 1 for a preliminary injunction and an action for arbitration against Acacia Media Technologies.
"The judge granted an order for Acacia to show cause why a preliminary injunction should not be issued," the source told AVN.com later the same day. "Acacia basically disclosed other matters that fall against confidentiality provisions. (We want) to have them stop making statements about (Trade News) in the news."
A hearing on the action and order was set for August 15.
Acacia declined comment when reached by AVN.com and the full court documents were unavailable for review as this story went to press.
