Frontman Josh Todd knows his sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll. As the former singer of Buckcherry, Todd scored a hit with the song "Lit Up," which reveled in the joys of cocaine fueled debauchery, from their self-titled debut CD, and penned a sleazy track called "Porno Star," off their sophomore effort Time Bomb.
Todd also performed at the release party for the Reality Entertainment/Caroline soundtrack to VCA's latest adult video epic, Misty Beethoven: The Musical earlier this summer, where the tattooed rocker mingled with the likes of Sunset Thomas and Randy Spears.
The streetwise performer recently chatted with AVN.com about his love of porn and all things decadent.
AVN.COM: What are some of your favorite choices or favorite performers.
JOSH TODD: I like Rocco [Siffredi]. Rocco rules.
AVN.COM: What is it about Rocco that everyone seems to love?
JT: I just like the way his porns are put together. Like, I saw one porn of his where he’s got all the girls outside the door, like they’re waiting to be auditioned or something, for some kind of rule in the movie. And he’s just fucking hosing one girl, and he just walks out their naked and grabs another one and comes in the room and gets her into the fuckin' mix. And he just does this throughout the whole video. He’s a sick fuck, too, where he makes him eat out his ass and shit. He’s pretty classic.
AVN.COM: Do you tend to like that more hardcore, raw stuff? Or do you like the more mainstream stuff?
JT: I like just the girl-next-door type shit. I really like to see some girl who looks like I’d just run into her at the mall or at a grocery store or something. Ya know? That makes me more excited than just seeing some chick who’s got big fake tits and a nice hard body and perfectly tanned, getting fucked. I like to see broads that look like they've got a few rounds on them. But I’ve seen some of these porns where they’re into really abusing girls and shit like choking them with their cocks and shit like that. I’m not really down with that. I'm kinda old fashioned. AVN.COM: Do you have a current female performer who you think is the hottest around?
JT: I’m not too up to speed on the new school.
AVN.COM: What about an old school classic performer?

AVN.COM: Do you remember the first time you ever saw porn or nudie magazine, when you were a kid?
JT: Yeah, my father had stacks of Playboys underneath the coffee table and right next to that was a Tupperware filled with weed. That was my first experience to seeing a naked girl. And then when I discovered masturbating, it was on. I had this bathroom next to my room, and I had the only room downstairs. It was a two-story house. My older sister and all her girlfriends would change in my bathroom. There was this little crack in the door where you could see when it was completely shut. AVN.COM: What do you think of all hoopla over Janet Jackson and Howard Stern from the government and conservatives? It seems every so often, usually around election time, they come out of the woodworks and start attacking free speech and porn.
JT: I think it’s so silly that it all started from Janet Jackson. That’s the thing that bums me out the most. She’s not even a sexual being, in my opinion. I don’t know. I think it’s just a ripple. I think it comes in waves, and it’ll go away.
AVN.COM: What about the recent HIV crisis in porn? Were you aware of that? What is your take on condoms or no condoms debate?
JT: You know what? I have to admit, I really don’t like watching porn with condoms. It's just not as fun anymore.
