Brittany Andrews Joins WIA Board

Adult film star Brittany Andrews has been named to the board of directors of Women In Adult, a move the group says expands its adult entertainment industry coverage. Andrews will serve primarily as the group's talent liaison.

"It has been a long, hard struggle after eleven years to be able to finally have a voice," said a formal statement from Andrews, who owns Britco Pictures. "I hope that a group like WIA will someday make it a little bit easier for up-and-comers to survive in this industry. I want to help as much as possible."

WIA president Lori Z. said adding Andrews indicates WIA is growing and their vision – providing a central place for supporting and empowering women in the adult Internet industry – is being realized a step at a time. "I believe Brittany's contribution will be extremely valuable," Lori Z. said, "and we are very happy to have her on board."

Founder Holly Moss called Andrews the group's missing link, after first having formed with various adult entertainment women in administrative and other business-side positions. "Having her join us will provide a gateway to the talent side of the industry that we were lacking before," she said.
