Brittaney Starr, who has appeared in more than 50 adult videos, began shooting for her Website three years ago – then decided to compile her footage for her first video – and was surprised to find that she sold more than 3,000 copies of the tape – without distribution or promotion, via the Internet.

Then a chance meeting with Jewel De'Nyle in a bagel shop led to her landing a distribution deal with Elite Multimedia.
"I had done a video for Anabolic and Jewel was on the same video – not the same scene, but I loved her work," Starr said. "I saw her in a bagel shop, so I approached her and told her I loved her work. We got to talking, and Michael Stefano was with her, and they both said, 'Oh, you're shooting your own work? You should get distribution. I have this friend Victor at Elite Multimedia.' She gave me his card and that was it."
Since then Starr has produced, directed and shot five videos for her My First Porn Scene in Las Vegas for her production company, DLV Limited Pictures, that have been released through Elite. She already has another five installments of the series canned, which is shot entirely with people who have never performed in porn before.
Starr finds that shooting in Las Vegas makes it easy to find new women for her videos, noting that Vegas has a largely untapped talent pool. "They don't know how to get into porn even if they wanted to," she said.
"I think it's easier for a woman to pick them up. They know I'm not judging them, I'm just looking to party with them," Starr explained.
She also benefits from the fact that Vegas is a tourist destination where people often come specifically to party - half the women in her videos are just visiting Las Vegas.
"I go out to clubs and I go out to bars, to the grocery store even, and I meet these girls. When I'm out drinking I get on hit on by these girls. I start making out with them and next thing you know they are over at my place shooting a porno," Starr told AVN.com
With a sixth My First Porn Scene in Las Vegas coming out later this month, Starr is now working on a new reality series, with a special Vegas twist.
Limo Bustin' Babes, the first of which will come out August 26, also uses women who aren't professionals. The twist is that Starr and Chris Dean, her partner and in DLV Limited Pictures, drive up and down the Las Vegas Strip in limo busses picking up women and often using the limo as the location for the sex scene – while they continue driving up and down the Strip.
"You walk in and you can stand up. There are stripper poles and lights and a smoke machine – it's like a club in a car. We drive down the Strip where people can see and get their reactions," Starr said, describing the most frequently used limo bus, provided by Vegas Phil.
Even though the windows are tinted, people can still see in to a certain degree. Occasionally someone puts their face against the window and gets a clear view of what's going on inside.
Not all sex takes place in limos for Limo Bustin' Babes – some takes place in public locations such as coffee shops and underneath bridges.
The highlight of the first volume of Limo Bustin' Babes was the discovery of Ava Adore, a FFF-busted beauty who has gone into porn full-time since shooting her first scene with Starr and Dean for this video.
"We found her on the Las Vegas strip," Starr said. "She had never done anything. I saw these big titties busting out of her dress. I started talking to her and the next thing you know she's shooting a scene with us. Now she's working in the business."
"The thing is, she was the aggressor. With like the ass-to-mouth, she started saying, 'Oh, my ass is so sweet, I love this,' then pulls my dick out and starts going at it. Both of us looked at each other and were like, 'Whoa! Am I dreaming?'" Dean said.
"I asked her to try his dick in her ass and all of a sudden she sits on his cock," Starr said.

There are five full-blown sex scenes on Limo Bustin' Babes, and plenty of scenes where the women just couldn't come to terms with having sex on video.
"Sometimes it doesn't work," Starr explained. "Sometimes a girl will come on the bus flash her breasts then leave. Sometimes they'll just mess around with their girlfriend or boyfriend then leave. We leave those scenes in, though, because it's real."
Next up for DLV Limited Pictures are three features – including a "pornumentary" – a porn documentary about the comeback of porn star Traci Starr, Brittaney's sister.
