What's the Brazilian word for horseshit? Tom Byron just returned from Brazil where he shot Extreme Brazil 4. Guess what? Nobody shot back. There was no bullet with Byron's name on it. And, surprise, surprise, the stories about bullet-riddled video store corpses are also works of fantasy, according to Rob Black.
"In Brazil. Evil Angel's product is suffering, and we're the exact reason why it's suffering," says Black. "Our sales have been phenomenal. Last month Tommy went on like a whirlwind tour of Brazil. He went to six different territories. We just talked to our distributor there and he would know about a store owner being shot. He said, what the fuck? Where did you hear this stuff from? We said it was on the Internet here. He said no shop owner got fucking killed. Why would a Brazilian drug lord's girlfriend be doing porno for $200?. And he said, if you did, they would be at his door because Extreme Brazil is there. He's our partner. Everybody knows it. He said, 'They'd be here trying to kill me.' He said, 'Rob, this is a comedy.' He thought it was the Evil Angel people spreading stories and busting balls because their sales are going down."
Black also says that former ECW'er and WCW'er Chastity, of blowjob fame, will be making her debut with his XPW wrestling league. Black also confirms that, yes, pro wrestler/bodybuilder Nicole Bass is doing a Fem-Dom series for him, and that, if Jasmin St. Claire does, indeed, go to the WWF, he sees it as a feather in the cap for his XPW wrestling league which has been occupying a major portion of his time and making him the mystery man.
G. Ross: "I figured you were dodging mafia bullets. I figured it wasn't safe hanging around you."
Black: "I've been sparing you death."
G. Ross: "I appreciate that."
Black: "Nobody's got the story [about Bass]. You're going to get the story. You're going to get the first shot, baby. Her [Bass'] first movie isn't coming out until February. We're also shooting one Wednesday, but that one won't be coming out until March or April."
Black says XPW takes its show to Hollywood [the Vogue Theater] this Saturday night and Ventura on Friday night.
Black: "We got Public Enemy and Chastity."
G. Ross: "The blowjob girl."
Black: "She makes her debut appearance this weekend. And we just finished the first XPW tape ["The Hardcore Conception"]. I think we'll have national distribution for it. The tape introduces all the XPW characters and the feuds. I've been consumed with this shit. That's what I've been focusing on. It's been real busy."
G. Ross: "What are the Jasmin rumors - the ones that she's going to the WWF?
Black: "I don't know. Maybe she's doing it; maybe she's not. If she does go, I should get something for that. Everybody should line up and say, 'Rob, you were right. You did it. You turned a gangbang queen into a fuckin' WWF commodity.' "
Black says Jasmin's ringside appearance at WWF's Raw is War taping at the Staples Center two weeks ago was set up by him. "We cut a promo for her and are supposed to hear something back this week or next week," Black said. "It's a demo tape about her doing the 'stunner' and doing the ECW-thing. We gave it to Larry Burton, a guy who does shit with the WWF like behind-the-scenes-stuff. So, it's the rumor that she might be getting signed. Jasmin did an audition. They wanted to talk to her. They didn't believe that she knew how to 'work.' "
G. Ross: "Why would all this be of interest to them if Jasmin was with XPW?"
Black [laughing]: "It's not like we're big. I'm not saying anything, but we'll see what happens. If it does, it will be phenomenal. Every broad in the fucking industry will want to come to Extreme. It proves the validity of what I started with this wrestling-thing. Ultimately it would be the biggest crossover, ever. I did ECW and everybody said, yeah, yeah, yeah. Then we did the wrestling company and everybody said, okay. Now if Jasmin lands this deal, it's bang."
Black says XPW begins broadcasting, weekly, on Saturday nights, Channel 9 come February.
