Braun's 'Star Wars XXX' Gets Mainstream Plugs as 'Force Awakens'

LOS ANGELES—As Star Wars: The Force Awakens continues to break box office records across the mainstream galaxy, its Porn Valley counterpart is racking up some big numbers of its own. Director Axel Braun’s Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody is available for viewing on Wicked Pictures’ membership site, Wicked.com, with interest in the stratosphere after the release of the new movie.

Directed by four-time-consecutive AVN Director of the Year Braun, Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody was profiled December 24 on a Christmas Eve edition of The Lip TV’s The Lip News (TLN). The Lip News is the top daily news program on the award-winning site, which is executive produced by Tony Ortega, a former Village Voice editor-in-chief and current New York Times best-selling author. The segment aired as the safe-for-work trailer for the parody, originally released by Vivid in 2012, reached a record 4.5 million views on YouTube.

"Who says porn has bad acting? That's CLEARLY not the case in Star Wars XXX!" raved host Nik Zecevic, who also produces the channel’s controversial Buzzsaw, starring journalist and filmmaker Sean Stone, son of director Oliver Stone. Turning to co-host Jo Ankier, Zecevic went on to rave about the parody’s CGI, “quality acting” and “amazing effects” while running a clip from the film. The story is online here.

Ortega and Zecevic’s informative segment, and the trailer’s sky-high YouTube numbers, are just the latest PR benefits to accrue for the Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody since the Star Wars box-office force has reawakened. As  Mashable.com reports, The Force Awakens' arrival in cinemas "has lifted all kinds of Star Wars-related merchandise — including the pornographic parody movie Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody, which has seen a 500 percent increase in DVD sales since the beginning of December." (The trend-setting site cited cCommerce company Gamelink as their source for sales figures). The acclaimed spoof has received mainstream coverage in everything from the New York Daily News to Breitbart.com and Comics Alliance. The safe-for-work trailer can be seen here.

With the highest budget ever for an X-rated spoof and Braun's legendary attention to detail evident in every frame, the movie stars Allie Haze, Seth Gamble and Tom Byron as Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi, along with adult legend Lexington Steele as Darth Vader and a vocal performance by gay porn icon Chi Chi LaRue as C3PO. The all-star cast is rounded out by ABP contract star Aiden Ashley with Kimberly Kane, Jennifer Dark, Eve Laurence, Tommy Pistol, Derrick Pierce, Danny Wylde, Rocco Reed, Jennifer White, Brian Street Team, Ryan Driller, Lily Cade, Ryan McLane, Brandy Aniston, Gia DiMarco, Rihanna Rimes, Rylie Richman, Lizzy London and Dick Chibbles as Chewbacca.
