BrainCash Releases Version 2.0, Adds NATS

Affiliate program BrainCash has released Version 2.0 of their affiliate software. The upgrade includes the switch to the NATS backend, which replaces the previous program’s MPA2 software.

“We are planning to build our own software and NATS is a good way to let our coders see a totally different tracking system and learn from it. With NATS we can start coding everything around it, except the tracking system. So, it helps us focus on the most important application,” BrainCash president Fred Valiquette told AVNOnline.com. “Running NATS also lets our affiliate know that we don’t shave, since the system doesn’t have a shave feature in it.”

BrainCash will continue to track older free hosted galleries, link codes and cookies during the transition to Version 2.0, to ensure that no sales will be lost.

Version 2.0 also includes a rebuilt hosted gallery system that makes it easier to import data into TGP software. Valiquette said more tools will be added shortly, including thumbs and descriptions.

The biggest step, however, is the NATS upgrade.

“The system also gives us access to a lot more features and tracking options. You can now create campaigns to identify each source of traffic your sales come from – you get better referral stats and we get a lot more data on the admin side,” Valiquette said.

“NATS is our first step into 2005 and a lot more projects will follow.”
