Bouncy Pictures has introduced a new mpeg4 "Cover Girl To Go" feature, which the company has incorporated into its new release, My Virtual Boss Mika.
The technology will also be included on every future title that Bouncy releases.
The “Cover Girl to Go” feature gives consumers a copy of the box cover girl's full scene for that title pre-ripped into a mpeg4 Divx file by Bouncy and included in a folder on the DVD itself.
Bouncy owner Ty Endicott said the user simply places the DVD into a computer, moves the file to their desktop and transfers it directly to their portable media player.
“This file is preformatted to play on most portable media players, like the devices from iRiver, which are basically like iPods that also play video files as well as mp3's,” Endicott said. “Bouncy's ‘Cover Girl To Go’ scenes are high quality, full resolution files that play beautifully on your portable media player that you can take anywhere. Hence the name, ‘Cover Girl To Go.’”
Endicott said even those people who do not own a portable media player can still view the “Cover Girl To Go" scenes on their desktop computers or laptops. He noted that all that's required to view them is the DivX player software that is available for free on their Website, www.DivX.com.
“This is not cell phone porn, this is not video on demand and no Internet connection or subsequent purchase is needed,” Endicott said. “This is an offline technology, included as a data file right on the DVD itself. Bouncy is the only one in the world doing this.”
Endicott says the convenience of the technology is the main attraction.
“The bathroom stall at the airport will never be lonely again... No DVD's to bring, no skipping, very long battery life, 100 percent discreet. No one knows what you have loaded on your player,” he said. “Wife nagging you to quit staying up all night jerking off to porno? No problem. Take this baby into the bathroom with you in the middle of the day, and you're good to go.”
