Down with the flu, Sharon Mitchell left a phone message offering explanation why certain performers in the business have been required to retest in the last day or so at AIM.
Mitchell: "The have a new courier service with MRL. The new guy froze all the blood specimens which obviously is not a good thing to do. When they did that, we had to redraw everyone. Everyone's been called in to be redrawn. So, if anyone's missed work, yes, we reimbursed them for the day's work that they missed. No, I didn't refreeze the blood on purpose."
During the CES Show, Mitchell happened to mention that her [another] 40th Birthday party at The Spearmint Rhino in Vegas raised $5500 for AIM, beating by $500 a previous fundraiser held at Hustler Hollywood in July. Mitchell said AIM averaged $600 in donations a day at their booth in Vegas.
