Black Widow Productions was launched in earnest when the company landed the exclusive North American distribution rights for German-based John Thompson Productions' German Goo Girls line earlier this year – now they intend to expand upon their success with formation of Black Widow Releasing.
Black Widow Releasing will distribute products produced or purchased under the Black Widow Productions banner. MBMMedia, a Danish distributor with ties in over 42 countries, will collaborate with Black Widow Releasing for global distribution.

Williams sees the consolidation in the distribution of adult production as a trend that benefits the consumers and retailers.
"Like many industries that I have been associated with, the adult industry is becoming mature with many emerging studios and producers," he said. "The buyers are being flooded by phone calls from new companies daily and they'll only deal with suppliers that they know and who service them the best.
