Distributor Black Widow Productions has recently expanded its distribution into bondage, with the addition of Society SM's line up of BDSM titles.
Produced by Society SM, Beauties Get Bound and Tied Up and Alone With Ogre are slated for release in February. Society SM is planning for monthly additions of each title. Though the company currently makes its titles available online at www.ssmvideo.com, Black Widow will distribute the company's DVDs.
Bad Ass Frank, a director for Society SM, in addition to owning and operating Bad Ass Models, said, "We had a lot of options when it came to DVD distribution. I like Ric Williams [Black Widow's president] a lot. I like what they're doing and who they're working with. It seemed like a good fit between Black Widow and Society SM."
Lisa, Black Widow's head of sales, added that the addition of Society SM's titles gives the distributor [an even wider] range of titles to offer their buyers.
"We're very excited to work with Society SM and their selection of quality titles," Lisa said. "With more adult consumers becoming more aware of the product that's out there, they're also more comfortable with buying fetish titles. However, it's not enough for distributors and stores to offer those titles, but they also have to be well-produced with performers who are into the scene. Society SM's titles will fill that need."
