Over the past few months, AVN Hall of Famer Jenna Jameson and Playboy TV have been searching for their next “American Sex Star,” in episodic, live broadcasts for Playboy TV.
After the polls closed last Friday, 18 year old Brea Bennett emerged as the contest winner, from a pool of four other finalists, including Lacie Heart, Tiffany Taylor and Michelle Maylene. Bennett is now an official Club Jenna girl.
In addition to fan votes, Bennett had to gain the acceptance of a celebrity judging panel that consisted of legendary talent Ron Jeremy and Christy Canyon, and director Jim Powers (with the addition of KISS frontman Gene Simmons dropping by during the final episode, as a surprise celebrity guest). The entire contest played out in a reality TV style format.
Bennett was originally eliminated in round 3, but in a twist of the contest, she was brought back as Jameson’s personal “wild card,” as was announced by Jameson herself, at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, in Las Vegas. Bennett was the newcomer in the group, with only four months experience in the industry, but the fans and the judges apparently agreed on the young starlet’s appeal, as the once-eliminated Bennett reigned victorious in the end.
Bennett was visibly shaking when she was declared the winner and exclaimed, "I'm so grateful to Jenna who brought me back as her wildcard choice, and I'm looking forward to my work for Club Jenna."
“I’m very excited,” said the Arizona-bred Bennett, still excited, a few days after her win. Bennett exclusively told AVN.com that “all of my dreams have come true by 18 years old.”
Bennett also reminisced about an early memory of her new boss, Jameson. “I saw her in Hustler magazine when I was only 12 years old, and I remember thinking that that’s where I want to be.” Bennett, of course, had to wait a few years.
Bennett, who has only done girl/girl scenes in the past, will now be doing bog/girl scenes for Club Jenna. “I only wanted to do boy/girl [scenes] for Club Jenna, because I’ve seen how carefully they managed the careers of their other girls, and I’m excited about the possibility of them doing the same for me. I plan on being around for a while.”
“I got into the industry to go straight to the top, but it’s pretty surprising that all this would happen so fast.”
