LOS ANGELES - Belladonna spoke to AVN this afternoon about the seventh volume of her Fetish Fanatic series, releasing next week through Evil Angel.
Directed by Belladonna for her self-titled production company, Fetish Fanatic is a edgy, all-girl specialty series. The latest installment finds Belladonna exploring medical play, hairy girls, puppy play, shaving, furries and foot fetishism.
"One of the things I like about Fetish Fanatic is that each one is different," Belladonna told AVN. "There are so many fetishes in the world, you'll never run out of material. It's a lot of fun to shoot."
The "furry" scene features Roxy DeVille and Lexi Belle in bunny costumes.
"The reason I cast Roxy is that she actually has this fetish and has the costumes," Belladonna said. "It was great to have somebody who actually dug it and knew what it was all about. I put her with Lexi Belle because those two are gorgeous together."
Standout performer Sinn Sage appears in the foot-fetish scene with Alexa Jordan.
"I think those two have the sexiest feet in the business," Bella said. "Sinn only does girl/girl, but I think a lot of people need to see what she's like. I really love her; she's underrated. For me, watching her is the closest thing to having real girl/girl sex. I saw it right away when I watched her; when I watch a girl fuck, that's what I want her to be like."
The medical play vignette was shot at the historic Linda Vista Hospital in Boyle Heights, a popular location for mainstream films and music videos.
"The scene had a really creepy feeling to it, but it was nice to see that come to life," Bella said. "The medical fetish is new [to the series]... I got all kinds of different toys from JT's Stockroom that we had never experimented with before."
Belladonna fans will want to see the star's shaving scene, in which she trims a Hasidic beard from her loins.
"I had grown out my bush for seven or eight months before we did the scene," she said. "We shot in a hotel in Hollywood, did a little intro scenario and decided to shave it at the very end - there's so much hair, it's a kick-ass scene to see!"
The puppy scene with Olga Cabaeva is another highlight, according to the director.
"I love it," she said. "Not every girl can play a puppy, and it's a lot of fun to see two girls get into it. That made it really hot for me to watch."
If it's hot for Belladonna, then it's probably scorching for the rest of the world. In fact, a trailer for Fetish Fanatic 5 was among the videos targeted by the government in the Evil Angel obscenity indictment.
"We stopped shooting scenes with enemas and squirting after that happened," Bella said. "We don't want to get ourselves in trouble. Hopefully, we can do it again in the future because I really like that stuff."
While she rolls out the new Fetish Fanatic, Bella is getting ready to act in a mainstream horror movie. She remains tight-lipped on the details but confirmed to AVN that the project has been green-lit.
"I met with the director and some of the actors, and it's shooting in May," she said. "We'll be doing a press release really soon with a teaser - but I can tell you that it is happening, it's very real, and I'm excited about acting...especially when I get to do crazy stuff!"
