"Becoming Wet" Shoot

Mark & Keri Webb post: "Kylie Ireland wrapped a two day shoot entitled 'Becoming Wet' for VCA this past week. 'Becoming Wet' was directed by Wesley Emerson and penned by Marie MacDonald & Martin Brimmer.

Jonathan Morgan, on loan from Wicked Pictures, stars alongside Kylie as writer 'Gilbert Fitz' who writes under the pseudonym, Jennifer Whett, who after completing his novels, indulges himself on fine champagne and the nastiest hooker he can get from the escort company. On a weekend when business is brisk, the escort company cannot comply with his normal request of a blonde with 'bolt on tits out to here' and as nasty and slutty as they come. Enter Hannah O' Riordan (Kylie) sent to satisfy his urges. What happens next is a very nervous Gilbert Fitz is seduced by the sexual and stunning, but not what he expected, Hannah O'Riordan.

The story moves on as Gilbert's manager, Herbie, played by Nick Ireland, schedules a press junket to promote Gilbert's newest novel 'Hotel Erotica'. A last minute idea by Herbie is to hire an actress to portray 'Jennifer Whett', much to the shock and dismay of Gilbert as Hannah is hired to be that actress. Gilbert is then coerced to tag along as "Jennifer's" personal manager.

The fun starts when Hannah, who is nothing more than a high priced call girl, goes into radio interviews as Jennifer Whett and lets loose on her sexual ideas and notions while a flabbergasted Gilbert can only watch in horror as his 'Jennifer Whett' is reduced to a sexual bombshell who goes off in the middle of the interviews.

Co-Stars include Renee LaRue, Keri Windsor, Olivia, TJ Hart, Chennin Blanc, Chris Cannon, Kyle Stone, Ian Daniels, Micheal J. Cox and Cheyne Collins.

VCA also had a very distinguished guest to the shoot on Tuesday evening in the form of Film Director Bob Rafelson who lives within earshot of the location. Mr. Rafelson, 2-time Academy Award Nominee and winner of the New York Film Critics Award for Best Director, Creator of 'The Monkees' and Producer-Director of such classics as 'Easy Rider', 'Five Easy Pieces', 'The Postman Always Rings Twice', 'The King of Marvin Gardens' and the cult classic 'Head' in 1968. Mr. Rafelson spent 4 hours with Wesley Emerson and Jace Rocker discussing the finer points of making movies. Bob also spent time with the entire cast and crew and was truly intrigued by the entire production. Thanks, Mark Webb."

[Rafelson, by the way, is also Webb's godfather, and Webb adds this comment about The Postman Always Rings Twice: "One of the most controversial scenes in the entire movie and perhaps in movie making at the time was the scene where Jessica Lange and Jack Nicholson fuck on a butcher block table in the kitchen. When the film was cut and delivered to MPAA, they gave the movie an X rating. It had to be cut down to an R. If you've seen the scene it's pretty trampy as it is in the R-version."
