LOS ANGELES—Are you ready to rumble? The makers of Battle Bang sure hope you are. Antigua Pictures is preparing to release the first volume of its real-life mixed martial arts series in which male performers compete in the cage—no stuntmen here—for a carnal prize.
With MMA among the fastest growing sports in the country, Battle Bang intends to capitalize on the growing phenomenon. The series, of which there are 10 volumes, pits male performers against each other in pro-style fights.
Each fight takes place in a special cage the company had built, along with a referee and play-by-play commentary for each bout. Among the fighters were Keni Styles, Danny Mountain, Marco Rivera, Johnny Castle, T.J. Cummings, Jordan Ash, Derrick Pierce, Seth Dickens and Dick Delaware, who is a professional MMA fighter.

“The guys absolutely loved shooting this,” Antigua Pictures’ Todd Blatt told AVN. “It’s not very often they are the focal point, but they trained for it, took it seriously and beat some ass. They were dedicated. The fights are incredible; it’s all real.”
Lexi Belle, Isis Taylor, Monique Alexander, Kelly Divine, Isis Love, Stacy Adams and Jessie Andrews were some of the prizes the fighters received.
Each full-contact contest in the round robin tournament was scheduled for two three-minute rounds with a round each for grappling and kickboxing. The winner with the most points would move onto the next round in addition to performing in a sex scene. The spoils go to the winner, after all. The loser was subjected to some kinky humiliation.
Battle Bang also is available via pay-per-view on select cable and satellite providers. Each DVD contains four sex scenes and two fights. The first episode of Battle Bang streets on Feb. 8.
“I know this is something completely different for the marketplace and for retailers,” Blatt said. “With MMA being the hottest sport right now and combining real, action-packed fights with hot sex is a winner. It’s an exciting DVD for all fans to watch. And I think we’re going to bring in a whole new fan base with the MMA community.”
