Former rock star and current popular male porn star Barrett Blade has signed a directing deal with Original Sin Films. Blade will make his Original Sin directorial debut with Planet Blade's House Party , to be released in August, and will follow that up with a series titled Planet Blade.
"I have known Barrett for a while now and have worked on a few big budget movies with him and he’s got a great eye. He’s a talented editor, too. He’s a very talented guy.” said Original Sin Films president Jim Crawford. "He has always been very creative and has a strong work ethic. I was more than happy to give him the chance to direct. With all his experience in front of the camera it was a natural transition for Barrett to move behind the camera with his own line of videos. He's doing an amazing job. Barrett Blade will be a big asset to our new company."
Original Sin has also tapped Nic Andrews to direct a video entitled Mirage. Look for it in late August.
An AVN nominee for Best Male Newcomer and Best Actor, Blade is also the hosts of the live show Spice Hotel show for the Spice TV channel.
