Barnacle Bill the Sailor Website Launches At Last

Following a year's worth of talk and a massive enough publicity blitz, the Website for Ron Jeremy's new vehicle, Barnacle Bill the Sailor, launched officially September 16.

Starring and directed by the AVN Hall of Famer and Metro contract star as the rapacious title character, Barnacle Bill the Sailor is also slated to become a video and DVD series, in which Jeremy brings the roguish sailor back to life for laughs, lust, and action. The cinematography is by co-executive producer Steve Banan, editing by Jim Borrows, Website photo gallery stills by Ernie Flores, and you'll also get "the most beautiful fair maidens you have ever seen make the character… come alive," as Metro and MK Multimedia put it.

Site members will get to see the Flores stills through slide shows simplified with new Image-Folio powered technology, in a program aimed to let members take charge of all photo galleries with one click.

And with Banan shooting with minimal cuts and transitions, members should be able to come closer and enjoy the sex from beginning to end, much the way Barnacle Bill himself does.

MK Multimedia's technology has brought the video loads to the Website members in three easy parts, viewable over DSL/cable, dialup modem, or high-quality download for later viewing, and the videos and stills alike are coated for copyright protection and authenticity.

The theme song, "Barnacle Bill the Sailor," is performed by Drunk and Disorderly, and site members will be able to hear other selections by the band in the coming months. There is also a news section devoted just to Jeremy's appearances around the world for the project, with members able on certain days to chat with Jeremy and some of his fair maidens alike.

There is also a memorabilia section for members to choose original, singular keepsakes from any of the video shows in the series, autographed by Jeremy. And, a store tied to the site will offer over 1,700 Ron Jeremy titles.

Banan, Jeremy, and MK Multimedia guarantee constant updates of new video episodes to the site, but they're open to suggestions. Seriously.
