Bare Inc., the independent sales and marketing team made up of industry veterans Rebecca Bardoux and Vince Miller, have placed their focus on building Critical X. Soon they will turn their attention to Raw Flesh, and they have received several inquiries from other parties for their services this month.
“I think it’s nice,” Bardoux, the former performer, told AVN.com. “There are a lot of people that are shooting stuff that don’t have a clue what’s going on and need a little guidance. Between Vince and I and the connections we have, we can get distribution for them if they come to us with raw tapes. We can edit, duplicate and handle artwork. We’re more of a guidance tool for them.”
Miller handles sales and after he opens an account, Bardoux comes in for support.
“Anything they need I can provide,” she said. “I’ll help get your name out there. … It’s amazing to go from being a porn star to something else in this industry. I’m glad I’m where I am today in 13 years.”
Even though they have only been working together for two months, Bardoux said she and Miller have built a strong business relationship and agree on giving their clients “a personal touch.”
“I try to be honest and up front and professional. I like to treat people how I would want to be treated. I’ve always been like that throughout my career,” Bardoux said. “Vince always says, ‘Be a good person and the rest will follow.’ I learned a lot from him."
She continued, “The response for Critical X has been so wonderful. It’s amazing when you do things the right way.”
Critical X is currently searching for a contract girl that it hopes to unveil at the VSDA show in late July.
Some of its titles include Spotlight, Damaged Goods, Sex Crazed, Fuckables, Sexology 1-2 , and the upcoming Fuck That and Gangbang, which is two girls taking on eight guys.
“It’s been a long time since I watched a movie where I just fell in love with the girls,” Bardoux said. “They are girls that like sex. I like it when I see a girl sucking cock and smiling.”
