BARCELONA — The 18th annual Festival Internacional de Cine Erótico de Barcelona (FICEB) has been postponed for 2010. Event organizers cite the economy as the reason for this year’s cancelation.
“This is the only Film Festival in Spain that does not have access to the subventions aimed for this purpose. This fact makes FICEB become much more vulnerable to the present economic situation,” said press officer Natalia Kim in a statement. “The severe crisis that we suffer affects the national and international producers and distributors of adult films that have made FICEB possible in the past.”
