AVN's first performer to receive the Gay Performer Special Achievement Award for his work with charitable contributions planned a kinky wild weekend of events that earned almost $10,000 for AIDS charities. \n Will Clark, one of the few performers in the business with red hair, gathered more than 20 porn stars for the weekend of Bad Boys, in connection with the Companion Press book of the same name filled with porn star interviews by Mickey Skee. \n "I was thrilled by the turnout," Clark says. "The event grossed over $8,300 for Aid for AIDS and the Joey Stefano Fund, and they tell me that checks are still coming in from fans from the Internet who reached into their checkbook and wrote a check - even if it was for $10." \n The pool party was held at a mainstream Hollywood producer's house in the hills; it culminated in a wild j.o. session led by stars Big Peter Dixon (in from Chicago), Alex Stone and a slew of other hot men. \n Others in attendance included Jeff Palmer, in his dark sunglasses; Dean O'Connor, who earned $100 for the charity when he pulled his pants down and jumped in the pool; Joey Hart, fresh from a bisexual video scene; Eduardo and Sam Carson, Dino Phillips, Vince Harrington, Jody Hart, agent Giorgio Falconi, Bob East, Joshua Scott, Derrick Stanton, John Erich from Unzipped, Alan Mills from In Touch, Lex Kyler, John Rex, Jack Simmons, John Ross, James Perry, Eric Evans, Seth Black, Mason Flynt, Alex Carrington, Jason Miller, Mark Kroner, Thomas Lloyd, Cody Matthews, Johnny Johnstone and director Kevin Clarke. \n Marc Hamilton was bid on by a fan and Mickey Skee interviewed him for the next Bad Boys book. \n The night before, at A Different Light Bookstore, many of the same stars (as well as Catalina exclusive model Steve Rambo, who was funny and glib) attended the book signing. \n The events began September 17 with Clark interviewing Eric Evans, Dixon, Skee and other stars at Micky's Bar in West Hollywood. Skee's book signing was on September 18, and the pool party was the next day for $50. \n Sponsors of the event included Companion Press (www.companionpress.com), A Different Light Bookstore, The Next LA Magazine, Odyssey Men Video (www.ogmen.com) as well as All Worlds Video, American Men Network, Brush Creek Media, Close-Up, Geoffrey Karen Dior, Hollywood Sales, Apollo Bay and Sticky Remote who handed out their handy video review book at the pool party. \n Gift Bags and auction items were provided by Skee, Companion Press, All Worlds Video, Catalina, Hollywood Sales, Hot House Entertainment, I-D Lube, International Media Distributors, Odyssey Men Video, Oh Man! Studios, Skinflicks, Sticky Remote Pocket Gay Video Guide, Titan Media, Unzipped, USMale and Vivid Man Videos. \n "This event went beyond my wildest expectations, and we're already talking about making this an annual event," says Clark, who is also being honored with the Leo Ford Humanitarian Award at the Gay Erotic Video Awards, and has helped earn close to $100,000 for AIDS charities.
