Back to the Future: Khan Returns To YNOT

YNOT Network’s going back to the future with the return of original YNOT staffer Robert (Khan) Jenkins, who will take over traffic-related issues involving the company's surfer-oriented Web properties following a three-year hiatus, the company announced December 5.

"Khan is honest, helpful and well-respected by everyone who knows him, and his return to YNOT is a huge score for us," said YNOT president Bob (YNOTBob) Rice, announcing the return of Khan, whom he credits as a positive influence on his own adult Internet career. "Khan has always possessed an uncanny ability to see the big picture in any business situation, which is a rare and valuable skill in every industry. All Webmasters who use YNOT's services will benefit from Khan's insight and experience, and the rest of our staff are also in for a treat."

Khan himself said he was more than pleased to be back with YNOT. "When I look at YNOTMasters today, I see a lot of additions and improvements, which shows me that YNOT is, as it ever was, committed to maintaining the highest standards in serving the adult Webmaster community," he said. "I'm thrilled to be back and look forward to working with such a great team of professionals."

Rice told AVN.com that Khan had never stayed out of touch with YNOT, or with him in particular, during the hiatus.

"He took his little hiatus and then he re-contacted us after he noticed the progress we made with the redesign," Rice said. "And we'd always been friendly. I always got advice from him; he is seriously my mentor. We opened discussions; we’ve got The ADULTWEBMASTER now; and it would have been great to get him back to help us out. So we worked out a contract and brought him back."

Rice added that Khan had been "lurking" around YNOT a couple of weeks before his official Dec. 5 return. "He'd been giving us pointers about how to make the transition smoother between The ADULTWEBMASTER and YNOT," Rice said. "Then he came to us with a game plan, and we loved it, and we're happy to have him back."
