LAS VEGAS—BBW FanFest, a weekend-long celebration of adult BBW performers, is slated for July 13-15 at the Tuscany Suites and Casino in Las Vegas.
The show is designed not only to include BBW models in the adult industry, but also celebrate them. Fans can meet, get autographs, take photos, buy videos and get to know many of the stars they have previously only been able to see online or on video.
The show consists of several different events, including a tradeshow, awards show and banquet, seminars, and, of course, dance parties.
“BBW FanFest (BBWFanFest.com) was born out of the past reluctance of mainstream adult trade shows to reach out to plus size performers,” explained Kari, the organizer of the event. “BBW FanFest is a trade show similar to Exxxotica but on a smaller scale as it is a first year show. Currently we have over 75 plus sized performers exhibiting, presenting or otherwise involved with the actual show in some fashion. This niche has a loyal fan base and early indications are it will be a hit with strong attendance.”
Kari said BBW FanFest has a daytime trade show schedule which will feature on stage entertainment as well as seminars. The Awards Show Banquet is the main activity Saturday evening but there are various parties and events throughout the weekend.
“It's important to make this show a success so that our niche can have a place to showcase and exhibit in a setting surrounded by their peers,” she said.
